Automobile production in July 2005 was recorded as 903,495 units. Compared with the 926,954 units total recorded for the same month of the previous year, this is a decrease of 23,459 units or 2.5%, and production decrease on the same month of the previous year after seven months of upturn.

Motorcycle Production Data for July 2005

Motorcycle production in July 2005 was recorded as 136,350 units. This is 3,999 units or 3.0% up as compared with the 132,351 total registered in the same month of the previous year. It is a production increase on the same month of the previous year for four consecutive months.

Automobile export in July 2005 was recorded as 426,348 units, down 23,917 units or 5.3% as compared with 450, 265 units recorded for the same month of the previous year. It is an export decrease on the same month of the previous year after two months of upturn.

Motorcycle export in July 2005 was recorded as 88,452 units, down 1,490 units or 1.7% as compared with 89,942 units recorded for the same month of the previous year. It is an export decrease on the same month of the previous year for two consecutive months.
